A deep dive into domestic travel

The data points available on this dashboard provide an overview of Canadian:

  • Traveller behaviour
  • Traveller planning
  • Traveller motivators
  • Traveller barriers
  • Travel seasonality

Timely research and insights

The data is drawn from quantitative market research conducted annually since 2020, using representative samples of Canadian travel consumers. The market research uses a stratified random sampling approach of identified Canadian travel consumers.

Looking forward, the intention is to update the data on a bi-annual basis to continue providing an ongoing read of Canadian traveller perceptions and behaviours. The research is designed and managed by TIAC's partner, Skift, adhering to ESOMAR market research standards.
